About Instoryview
Instoryview shows public Instagram accounts over time. View an account as it is now with the Story Viewer, Likes Viewer and Follower Viewer. Track what changes: Instoryview checks the public follower and following lists it can read and compares saved lists to find new follows, new followers and unfollows. Understand what it means with charts, the Follower Analyzer and AI summaries. Instoryview is not part of Instagram or Meta.

Data source and limitations
Instoryview retrieves publicly available Instagram data through HikerAPI, a third-party data service. This is not an official Instagram or Meta API integration. Instoryview is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.
Data may be delayed, incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or temporarily unavailable. Results depend on what HikerAPI and Instagram make available, and may come from a saved cache. We do not guarantee a full list, complete history or detection of every change. We do not provide access to private account content.
Tracking compares the lists we can collect. Times show when we detected a difference, not the exact time someone followed or unfollowed. No recorded change does not prove that nothing happened, and a list difference does not explain a person’s reasons.
Use results as a reference and verify important information. Our Terms of Service explain the disclaimers, and our Privacy Policy explains what we send to the data provider. Public content still belongs to its owners. Account owners can request removal on our removal page.
Instoryview Editorial
Instoryview Editorial is the name used for articles on this site. Our guides explain follower counts, follows and unfollows. They also help you read tracking results.
Our guides explain how tracking works. Examples use made-up accounts, numbers and times. We explain when a tracker found a change. This is not the exact time someone acted. A name joining or leaving a list does not tell us why it happened.
Each guide shows the date it was published. Find more guides in our Blog.
